Empagliflozin for diabetes can VERY RARELY cause Fournier's Gangrene (CW: DO NOT LOOK THAT UP WITH IMAGES). I forget which antidepressant it was that has a rare side-effect *nobody* who gets it objects to—sneezing causes orgasms! (This correlated with much improved depression symptoms but also with patients who kicked up a fuss about having their medication changed. 🤣)

I had a meeting with a Cardiff Uni Lecturer recently about creating a module for the Third Year Students - around creative, positive, future visioning. As they are writers, I was wondering about creative students doing the visualisations. Just, a concept a proposal as yet.

Including "you should all be ashamed of yourselves."
They felt shame. There's the empathy hit, that makes them want to lash out as you made them feel bad. They need the control back.
Those of us who've had that move done to us recognise it for the abusive outburst it is.

The "secret" project I've been working on for the past few weeks is released! It's... a podcast! Martin Wolf (from Golem.de) and yours truly are talking about elderly computers and consoles. In German! Available on YT and on our website for now, to be listed in all the usual podcast places soon.

Hello and welcome to this week's recipe! I love running a recipe website.
When I was young, my grandma used to take me to the local market on a Saturday.
I used to love the smell of the freshly baked bread from the baker's stall.
I can clearly remember the different loaves that were available, and how the baker would often give me a hot cross bun for free at Easter time. I think that he fancied me a bit.
Sadly, my grandma is no longer with us, but every so often, I make this recipe in memory of her and the lovely times that I had with her.
Perhaps you will make it too, and experience a deep connection with a loved one.
Pop some bread in the toaster, turn it on, and wait until it pops.

Terrible recipe. I replaced the bread with gluten free pasta and the toaster with the grill and set fire to my kitchen. One star.

I think I'll be going with Andreaeaceae, for two reasons:
- I will never, ever will be able to spell it correctly on the first try, and that will both frustrate and amuse me to no end.
- It's a family of moss named in honor of J.G.R. Andreae, who - according to Wikipedia - "declined memberships of several scientific societies, as he regarded such honours as 'learned charlatanry'."
VM image prepared and copied to Luggage. Initial attempt at starting the VM on boot, via declarative config is currently being deployed.
If that works, I'll write the actions/bsd action, and see if it works.

Something caught my attention of what Brad Myers wrote in this 2001 paper on the history of human-computer interaction technologies:
Alan Kay proposed the idea of overlapping windows in his 1969 doctoral thesis, and overlapping windows first appeared in 1974 in his Smalltalk system at Xerox PARC, and soon afterward in the InterLisp system.
So, after Smalltalk, Interlisp was the second system with overlapping windows. The Interlisp environment Myers refers to is not Interlisp-D though but the one described here:
